“ This is a very nice restaurant with a very friendly and attentive staff. There were seven of us. Everybody ordered a different type of dish and all of them were pretty good. My spouse ordered their special, which was this large baked fish that was de-boned and it was massive. The fish was delicious. It wasn't cheap, but it was very good and two people could've easily eaten it, which they did warn us about. The dish was easily 9/10. My son ordered their lamb souvlaki and really liked it. He would give it a solid 8/10. Two of the individuals ordered the pork chop and said it was very good and it was huge. They gave it 8/10. Someone in our party ordered the muscles with spaghetti and the dish was apparently delicious and an easy 9/10. Even the appetizers, which were calamari and octopus, were both 10/10 and really good. I ordered the faroe salmon dish. I only gave this dish 6/10. I love salmon, and this was disappointing. It just didn't taste very good. It was fair enough that it was edible, so I didn't complain, but I was underwhelmed by this dish. All the dishes, like the salmon, pork, chops, and fish came with Romanesco, which is like a hard cauliflower type of vegetable. The Romanesco was very hard, and the knives given could not cut into it, so most of us had to put large chunks of it in our mouth to eat it, which was doable, but I would've preferred to cut it into smaller pieces with an appropriate knife. Something that I did notice was that I had ordered a horiatiki salad, which is like a Greek salad, and it was clear that they forgot to bring it for me and I had to remind the server and, five minutes later, it was presented. The salad was a 9/10. What would make it 10/10 would be more feta, and my son's horiatiki salad, which he ordered earlier, had more feta than mine. That plays into consistency. The next time, I will not be ordering the salmon dish and I will be asking for more feta cheese with my salad. Overall, the food is good and some of it is amazing. The service is excellent. The restaurant is very lovely and on the smaller side. It is not cheap, but it is fair. ”

“ Elia Authentic Greek Taverna is a very good Greek Restaurant located in Summerlin. They have very nice things on the menu that you don't find at many of the other Greek Restaurants. They also have a large wine selection and offer Greek varieties of fish and offer other nice dinners. They start you off with complimentary house baked bread and a good quality olive oil. We started off by sharing a beet salad and a roasted feta. The beet salad was very good and came with a little bit of skordalia dip. The roasted Feta also was a treat. It came out on a sizzling skillet like a fajita. It was also embellished a really great thick slice of sweet roasted tomato and also came with slices of hot and medium sliced peppers. This was really tasty. For our main we shared the Fagri (special Greek Fish) served table-side with fancy vegetable and a sauce. It wasn't perfection but was reasonably good so I didn't feel the need to complain. I told the waiter it was good. The service was amazing here. We had an incredible waiter that knew everything about all the food and was also very helpful. They also had a very good busboy that cleared every crumb as soon as there was one. I would highly recommend dining at Elia Authentic Greek Taverna. ”

“ We love to try new places and this was so fantastic we visited twice in two weeks! The service is five stars, we had the same server both times who was very nice and efficient. The host I think was an owner who seemed to know and hug everyone. Very welcoming atmosphere. The drinks from the bar hit the spot! They nail my dirty martini, super cold and extra dirty. My fiancé ordered their version of an espresso martini which is super strong but not bitter and perfectly sweet. Both times we ordered the fried zucchini chips with tzatziki sauce which is next level! So crispy and perfectly salted with a fantastic tzatziki that's not too garlicky. Literally obsessed with these chips! On our first visit we ordered the octopus and grilled feta apps which were both nice but not our favs. The lemon potato side dish was so yummy! We also loved Maroulosalata with all the lovely dill and ordered it our second time for a "veg". On our second visit, we decided to try the halloumi cheese that a compote that was spicy and sweet. The calamari app was perfectly coated and seasoned. The meatballs were nice but after such bold flavors, it paled in comparison. We saved room for dessert on our second visit to try the Ekmek Kadayıfı a custard with shredded phyllo! Delicious! The waitress suggested we pair it with the Greek "port". We'll be making this a regular go to for yummy food with a relaxed atmosphere! ”

The Food was so good it is obvious that there is a level of personal pride being adhered to in this small family restaurant! Every dish was near perfect in taste and presentation! Especially the Table side Salt Baked Sea Bass served by one of the owners! We had such a great time that I can't wait to bring more people back here! ”
